The Story of Lundström Lean

In 2001, the apparel factory of Linda Lundstrom Inc. was converted from a traditional bundle system to Lean Manufacturing. Lundstrom, together with Lean consultants, led the conversion process. As a result, Lundstrom agreed to allow her company to be used as a model for Lean Fashion manufacturing and hosted many tours for those interested in the success of the company’s Lean production.

By 2004, Lundstrom was conducting seminars on the premises for those wanting an in-depth exposure to Lean Thinking and Processes. Clients at these interactive workshops represented Education, Mining, Manufacturing, Marketing and government.

Invited to speak to various organizations, Lundstrom has appeared at several conferences, explaining the benefits of Lean, supported by photographs and data gathered throughout the actual manufacturing process. Her passion for manufacturing products domestically, combines with her Lean humour and skill as a professional public speaker to create a dynamic presentation. Actual experience on the plant floor inspiring people to embrace the conversion to Lean, adds immense credibility to Lundstrom’s presentations and consulting practice.

Today, Linda Lundstrom Works offers a range of services drawing upon both Lundstrom’s personal experience as a Lean Manufacturer, her ability to inspire people and her network of associates in the Lean Process world.
