Fashion Designer, Business Leader, Entrepreneur and Lean Manufacturing practitioner, Linda Lundstrom has been invited to speak at a wide variety of events.

WORKSHOPS

“Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder”- an interactive slide presentation to inspire the audience to celebrate their love of Fashion and Design but liberate themselves from the unrealistic expectations of the Fashion Media. This presentation will create a model for teachers to deliver to their classes, so I will have DVDs available for sale with the visuals and the script.

“Make a Pattern in Minutes”- A demonstration of how to use draping techniques to quickly make a made-to-measure pattern. I will show how to drape using the actual fabric to allow the personality of the fabric to be expressed in the design. I will have DVDs for sale for this which will give basic instructions for teachers to take this exercise back to their classroom.

“Make Your Own Fabric”- a demonstration of various techniques to create fabrics using simple tools and techniques. The process of ‘repurposing’ various materials, will enable teachers to help students create unique projects inexpensively with available materials. This presentation will also be available for sale on DVD for those who want to duplicate the learning in their classrooms.
